The event will be held on Saturday, September 1 at Harpenden Fire Station on Leyton Road between 11am and 3pm.

There will be safety demonstrations, advice on offer on a number of topics and the chance to look inside emergency vehicles, including a fire engine and those used by the police.

A raffle will be held and there will be a barbecue and refreshments.

It has been organised by the fire station’s staff and St Albans and Harpenden Volunteer Police Cadets.

Entry is free, but all donations will go to The Fire Fighters Charity and the Volunteer Police Cadets.
