A men's choir will be performing something for everyone at a charity concert in Harpenden.
The Imperial Male Voice Choir are welcoming everyone to their concert at St John’s Church on St John’s Road this March.
It will raise money for the St Albans and District Foodbank - a charity which provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food for local people in crisis.
With guest soloist Heidi Jost and conductor Deborah Miles-Johnson, the London-based group have pieces by Gustav Holst, Gioachino Rossini, Edward Elgar, and Franz Schubert up their sleeves, as well as more recent numbers including the Titanic theme.
Choir member Andrew Harbord said it was sure to be a “varied, spirited and lighthearted evening”.
The concert will take place on March 23 at 7.30pm. Advance tickets are £12, or £6 for students. Entry on the door is £15, or £7.50 for students.
