The Harpenden Christmas Carnival is returning next weekend!

It is taking place on High Street on Sunday, November 25 and will have a farmer’s market, Santa’s Grotto, fairground rides and the Christmas lights switch-on at 5pm.

Town mayor David Heritage said: “We are so pleased to once again be organising such a well-loved and well-attended event in Harpenden.

“Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, the event is set to be better than ever and we can’t wait to see the people of Harpenden getting into the Christmas spirit.”

The Harpenden Concert Band, the Magic Voices Choir and the Showkids Circus will be performing on the Church Green stage from 1pm until the lights switch-on.

Free parking will be available at Harpenden station and Rothamsted Conference Centre, however the council has encouraged people to walk or use public transport.
