Artists Justine Lois Thorpe, Anna Perlin and Kate Wilkinson will exhibit their work at 8 Leyton Road, Harpenden, opposite Waitrose, throughout the first week of October.

This will be the fourth time the three artists are exhibiting together. They have described their work as a “personal connection and response to the surrounding areas of nature in landscape and seascapes”.

Justine grew up in St Agnes in Cornwall, a place which continues to inspire her work. She was awarded the Green and Stone Award by Chelsea Art Society, has exhibited at the Discerning Eye Exhibition in London and was shortlisted for ‘Artists and Illustrators 2018’ at the Mall Galleries.

Anna Perlin’s work is inspired by her childhood in rural Oxfordshire, which gave her a love of the countryside and British landscape.

Her paintings and prints have been exhibited widely, including at the Mall Galleries, and she reached the semi-finals of the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in 2016 and won Artists and Illustrators Artist of the Year in 2017.

She creates her work from her studio in Hertfordshire, where she lives with her husband and two children.

Jeweller Kate Wilkinson grew up in East Hull, and trained in silversmithing and jewellery at the Royal College of Art. Her work has been featured in fashion magazines and films, and she has won a variety of trade awards and exhibited nationally.

Kate is a member of both the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire craft guilds and works from home in Buckinghamshire, where she lives with her husband and two teenage daughters.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 5pm from Saturday, October 1 to Saturday, October 6, and from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, October 7.
