Nearly 400 people went to Harpenden Public Halls on October 16 to peruse 35 organisations showcasing their services at the event.

There were charities, clubs, legal practices, financial advisers, a care home and home care companies.

It was organised by Harpenden Seniors Forum.

Chair of the forum, Fiona Gaskell, said: “It was great that we had full use of both halls, so there was plenty of room to move around the stands or to relax in the small hall, where Harpenden Village WI were serving excellent refreshments in aid of Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.”
