St George’s School is holding an exchange of clothes, gifts and accessories to raise money to fix the chapel roof.

The school is raising funds as part of their ‘Parable of the Talents’ campaign for the school’s chapel roof, which is ongoing until April.

The event will be held at Harpenden Trust Halls in Southdown Road from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, February 3.

Visitors are invited to bring new clothes, accessories or unwanted gifts, and in exchange can take away up to two items at no extra cost. There will also be a raffle with tickets available both on the day and beforehand, with prizes donated from local businesses including a meal for two and a complementary bottle of prosescco at The Fox pub, a £30 voucher from Lavender & Stone, a £50 voucher from Wilde About Hair and an Osprey London handbag.

Entry tickets cost £10 and include a glass of prosecco and a piece of cake. There will be a café at the event with tea, coffee, cakes and more prosecco, and a jigsaw, play and colouring area for children.
