The FA has given Harpenden Colts FC Charter Standard Community Club status for the second year running, to recognise its inclusively and appeal to players, coaches, officials, and supporters.

Colts chairman Richard Bandell said: "It really is something for the club to be proud of and a reflection of the dedication and commitment of so many volunteers over a long period of time to turn the club into what it is today."

To achieve this status, applicants have must at least 10 teams of boys, girls and adults, and coaches qualified to Level Two or beyond. The Colts has more than 80 teams, four Level Two coaches, and 125 Level One trainers - 48 per cent of the 260 who volunteer across the U7 to U18 groups.
