A canine creche in Harpenden celebrated its first birthday party with owners bringing their four-legged friends to the festivities.
The party was held on Sunday, February 17, with puppies enjoying the playrooms and meeting fellow dogs and their owners.
Mayor of St Albans Cllr Rosemary Farmer attended, alongside Harpenden’s deputy town mayor Cllr Brian Ellis, and they both enjoyed cuddles with the canine guests.
Canine Creche Group CEO and founder Rose said: “It’s a pleasure to see our franchisees reaching these anniversary points, it really demonstrates that the business model not only works but is greatly needed by our dog-owning folk across the UK.
“I am sure further facilities for this type of industry will follow across Hertfordshire and I am confident that Harpenden Canine Creche will be the benchmark for standards and service.”
The creche is similar to a children’s nursery, with ball pits, climbing frames and story and nap times for the dogs.
