Children at Bright Horizons Asquith Day Nursery have been munching on fruit and vegetables as part of a healthy eating project.
At snack time the children made their own fruit kebabs and talked about eating five portions of fruit or vegetables a day. They also made their own coleslaw using different vegetables, which they ate with their tea.
Nursery manager Hollie Stokes said: “The children have been enjoying looking at what foods they can eat to grow up healthy and strong.”
Bright Horizons Asquith Day Nursery is in Luton Road and looks after children from babies to preschool age.
